How to display your Scentations Decorative Potpourri

Arrange your potpourri in a bowl topped with the large botanicals for garnish and place the arrangement in your favorite room remembering to keep it out of the reach of small children and pets. Protect furniture from coming in contact with the oil. To avoid fading, don’t place in direct sunlight. Enjoy the ambiance that the soft fragrance adds to your environment.

How to refresh your Decorative Potpourri

Potpourri can be refreshed by removing the large decorative garnish pieces and stirring the bowl, bringing up the botanicals from the bottom. When more fragrance is desired, remove the large garnish pieces and place the potpourri in a plastic bag with one-half bottle of Scentations Refresher Oil and shake until well mixed before returning to bowl. Decorative Potpourri can also be gently misted with a bottle of Scentations Room Spray, being careful not to let the spray come in contact with fine furniture.

How long will my Decorative Potpourri remain fragrant?

The size and humidity of your room will have a direct effect on the length of time your potpourri holds its scent. The drier the air the more often your potpourri will need to be refreshed. The holding power of scents also varies with the fragrance. Spicy fragrances are stronger and remain viable for a very long time. A good rule of thumb would be to refresh your potpourri about once every month or two to keep it strong enough to fragrance your room.

How to Use Scentations Candles

All of Scentations candles are highly fragranced and formulated to give you many hours of enjoyment. To enhance and maximize your candle burn: Trim the wick to ¼ inch and straighten wick before each lighting. Do not place in a draft. Do not burn for more than three consecutive hours.

To use your candle safely do not place directly on furniture or finished surfaces. Do not leave unattended. Keep out of the reach of young children and pets.

How to use Room Sprays and Refresher Oils

Room Sprays are designed to add fragrance and remove unwanted odors from your room. Aim the spray away from your face and fine furnishings and gently spray into the air.

Refresher Oils are designed to be sprinkled on your potpourri to bring back the original full fragrance characteristics. Scentations Room Spray and Refresher Oils are environmentally friendly and approved for shipment to all US states and abroad.

How to use Reed Diffusers

Reed Diffusers are designed to act as flame-free candles. To use, unscrew the wooden top and remove the cork from the decorative bottle. Replace the wooden top and place the diffuser reeds into the bottle of fragrance oil. The reeds will begin to wick the fragrance within 24-36 hours.

To refresh the fragrance, or to speed up the wicking process remove the reeds and place the opposite ends into the oil. Place on a protected surface and enjoy for many months. Diffusers are great for homes, dorms and nursing homes since no flame is involved.

How to use Scentations Fragrant Sachets

Scentations’ Fragrant Sachets are designed to add fragrance to any small space. They are perfect for tucking into drawers, closets, bathrooms, automobiles, lockers and gym bags.

The sachets can also be opened and the contents used as vacuum scents or simmering potpourri. A tablespoon of the fragrance can be added to your vacuum cleaner bag or to the water in your favorite simmering pot.

Fragrant Sachets are not for human consumption and should be kept out of the reach of small children and pets. Protect fine furnishings from coming in direct contact with the envelopes.

How to use Wax Melts

Fragrance Melts are designed to add fragrance to your room by heating them in your favorite melting pot, they can be used in both UL approved electric simmering pots and tea light heated melting pots. Place a minimum of two large or six small Fragrance Melts in your favorite melting pot. The top opening of your melting pot should be a minimum of 2 1/2 inches.

Water should not be used with wax Fragrance Melts. Both the pot and the melted wax will become very hot; do not touch until both have cooled. Not for human consumption, keep out of the reach of small children and pets.
